In 1979 Elvita Adams jumped from the Empire State Building…and survived. A freak wind blew her back onto a ledge.

No one seems to know what happened to her after that. Ashley Smith of Comfortism, a theatre company, has imagined how she might have responded to such a lucky break. He has created a one 'woman' show in which he plays Elvita as a stand-up comic obsessed with other people who jump from cliffs and buildings.
